The Wolf Laurel Experience

Wolf Laurel is a private, gated mountain community of over 5,000 acres, located 30 miles north of Asheville, NC on I-26. Sitting on one of the areas highest ridges with elevations rising to over 5,000 feet, beautiful views abound within the community. Development of Wolf Laurel began in 1965 and there are currently approximately 700 homes on the mountain, including single family homes, condos, villas and town homes. Owners have great flexibility in selecting their ideal living arrangements among single family homes, condominiums, townhouses, or villas. Our residents include full time residents, seasonal & weekend residents owning second homes, and visitors who enjoy short term stays.

Breathe in the fresh air. Take a day hike on the Appalachian Trail which runs through Wolf Laurel. Have a picnic on top of Bald Mountain or pick blueberries on Little Bald. Enjoy a glass of wine as you read a book in front of your fireplace. For more resort-style activities, membership is available to the golf course, dining and fitness center offered by the Wolf Laurel County Club (WLCC). Also, the Village Club owned by the Wolf Laurel Property Owners Associations (WLPOA), provides its members with a multi-acre recreation area which includes swimming, trout fishing, pickle ball, tennis, a kids playground, basketball and more. The Village Club also provides a robust calendar of activities for its members including a variety of fitness classes, social opportunities, special events and educational opportunities. Wolf Laurel is a gated community with a difference: we are a resident owned community.

Wolf Laurel Road Maintenance and Security Homeowner's Association, Inc.(WLRMS) is the homeowners association for the Wolf Laurel subdivision. WLRMS provides road maintenance and manage the security gate for the Wolf Laurel community. As a resident owned community, WLRMS is governed by a nine member volunteer board of directors elected by property owners.

Mission Statement

The Wolf Laurel Road Maintenance and Security Homeowner’s Association is responsible for safeguarding and improving the roads, security, safety, infrastructure, neighborhood architectural standards, natural resources and quality of life of its property owners. WLRMS Officers, Board and Committee Members, and Staff, accept this responsibility and pledge to continue to discharge their duties for the Wolf Laurel community with a robust and renewed commitment to integrity, fiscal responsibility and transparency.
