Exceptions to the ban on drones will be made on a limited basis as necessary or appropriate to perform services to a property owner, for example, without limitation, filming a house or an undeveloped lot to be listed for sale, an insurance company performing inspections of part of a structure otherwise inaccessible, or the WLCC or WLPOA filming a special event.  The drone shall be operated by an experienced, licensed, and insured provider, copies of which will be provided upon request.  All drones shall be operated in accordance with applicable laws.  The drone operator will submit an application in advance of the date the drone will be in operation, the location, and the general purpose of the session and formally accepting responsibility for any damage that may be caused by the session.  RMS reserves the right limit the number of drone operators conducting sessions in a particular time frame, to impose conditions on approval or to deny applications for any reason, and to revoke permission and end any session it deems unduly disruptive to the community.

As Wolf Laurel is a recreational residential community centered on natural beauty, the drone operator shall conduct the session in a fashion to have the minimum disruption to residents, visitors, wildlife, and to the community in general.  Sessions shall be limited in duration.  Sessions shall not film or record the property of another owner unless that owner’s written consent is obtained in advance.  Sessions shall not record images of any person unless the individual’s written consent is obtained in advance.  Sessions shall not film common areas, recreational areas, amenities, or public lands in and about the community unless the property owner and operator shall enter into a License Agreement with the owner or operator of such land (WLRMS, WLCC, WLPOA, NCFS as the case may be).  All recordings and images shall remain the property of the licensor and may not be displayed, broadcast or used except in accordance with the License Agreement.
